I've been talking to 4 different lenders throughout the home buying process to compare rates and see how much help would the agents provide and what information would they share. NAF had a fee that 2 of the other lenders didn't, but the difference between Art and the other loan offices was night and day. I decided I'd rather pay the extra fee and work with him than going with another lender. Full disclosure, I like to complain about services but I have nothing to complain this time which is amazing to me. Art if you are reading this, you are amazing and I am very thankful for everything, I wish there were more people like you in this world! Overall I am happy with the loan I received. However, I would have appreciated clearer communication and better organization when gathering my documents and statements. For example, I had to re-submit documents because they required a “wet signature” instead of a digital one. This should have been communicated upfront. As a result, I had to leave work early to find a printer.
