Andrew Strickman

Chief Marketing Officer, New American Funding

Andrew Strickman joined New American Funding in 2023 and serves as Chief Marketing Officer.

An experienced leader with noted success building strong, differentiated brands that drive business value, Andrew leads a team of more than 50 experienced marketers across digital and performance, social media, content and storytelling, email, editorial, creative, operations, and an in-house print shop, while evolving and growing the company’s efforts in brand, events, insights, strategy and audience marketing.

Andrew’s early years as a journalist helped infuse a storyteller's mindset across a diverse marketing playbook, shaping measurable success with both B2C and B2B businesses while mindfully building high-performing, highly engaged teams.

Prior to joining NAF, Andrew led marketing at Care Access, a healthcare startup in the clinical trials space.

Andrew also brings substantial experience in the housing industry to his role at NAF, having spent eight years as the Head of Brand and Chief Creative Officer at realtor.com where he led a team of 33 that produced award-winning advertising and storytelling campaigns, developed long-term positioning and strategy, built strong organic and paid social engagement, and drove exponential audience growth, receiving Comscore’s designation as the fastest growing brand in digital real estate, while tripling revenue to $600 million during that time.

Andrew spent two years leading major campaign development and execution in Global Consumer Marketing at Yahoo, and eight years leading early influencer and word-of-mouth marketing agency Ammo Marketing through its acquisition by Dentsu Aegis.

While at realtor.com, Andrew also pioneered the company’s advocacy efforts around fair housing and non-discrimination in housing and lending. NAF’s mission to define a pathway to homeownership for all, including those who have previously been denied access to lending, was an important factor in Andrew’s decision to join the company.

A foodie and amateur chef, Andrew loves creating meals and great experiences for his family and friends at his home in San Francisco.
