Sharri was representing the buyer, and I was representing the seller. She sent me timely updates as her buyer went through the mortgage approval process. When I called her to ask for a verbal update, she answered the phone every time, was very professional, and she really showed me that she cares about her clients.

I wish there was something between \"great\" and \"medium.\" The folks I worked with at NAF were never anything less than professional and accommodating; they were always available when I needed to get in touch, and they always were able to answer my questions concisely and directly. I have nothing but good things to say about Sharri and Janna individually. What prevents me from giving the highest rating on this 3-point scale is that it felt as though there was a sudden unexpected rush of action items that emerged in the last week before closing; there were a few issues I had thought long resolved which suddenly needed to be litigated again, and they emerged mere days before close, which of course made me as a customer less certain and more harried. I work in real estate closings, so I'm more than sympathetic to the way that problems can materialize suddenly, or tiny details with big implications can be missed early in the process. Again, I want to emphasize that I have nothing but good things to say about the individuals with whom I worked at NAF; just that the process as a whole, in ways and for reasons that are still unclear, became more frustrating over time, up to and including closing. The actual final close and funding was severely delayed which never feels good, and my understanding is it had to do with UW issues that, frankly, should have been long closed. Ultimately, at final resolution, NAF has delivered eactly what I hoped for and has been pleasant to work with. I can't recommend Sharri and Janna enough, and I'll be happy to give their names to any friends of mine who move into this market, but there were some pain points in the process which prevent me from giving what amounts to a perfect score.

Although I am a W-2 employee with a stable and well-paying job, the overall loan process became unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. Instead of focusing on my current financial stability and employment, the process involved repeated requests for excessive and unrealistic documentation, including employment verification requirements from a former employer where I am no longer actively employed. I was asked to provide PDF forms that needed to be completed by the former employer’s HR department. Since I am no longer an active employee there, obtaining timely responses was understandably challenging, which caused unnecessary delays in my loan approval process. Despite promptly providing all documentation within my control, the back-and-forth communication and repeated follow-ups significantly prolonged the process. I also encountered several similar hurdles throughout the underwriting and verification stages, which made the experience stressful and inefficient. As a qualified borrower with verifiable income and employment, I expected a more streamlined and professional process. Based on my overall experience, I would not recommend NAF to friends, family, or colleagues seeking a smooth and customer-focused loan experience.
