We would have been happy to lock in 5.99% even if it had cost some money up front, but we are hopeful to be able to refinance next year. The other thing that was difficult was not receiving the final number and closing docs until the evening before close. My out of state bank luckily made an exception for us to be able to finalize the wire on the same day as it was sent. Other than that, we had a great experience with Mike and the team who worked on our loan.

Loan officer and my agent were amazing and top of everything at all times and they were always available when needed.
