Clay Boone comes to New American Funding as a Sr. Loan Officer with over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Clay is a proud native of Middle Tennessee with his roots being in the East Nashville area. He graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University where he was an All-American in baseball and later inducted into Trevecca’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He is married to an amazing wife and is helping raise three incredible kids.

As a result of his eldest son Jackson Boone’s passion for cars and racing, Clay has become very involved with the sport therefore earning him the title of the “Mortgage Race Guy”. Jackson is running NASCAR Late Model cars and won the championship last year at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. His car proudly displays the New American Funding logo.

Clay has immense mortgage experience and knowledge. But with that insight also comes a passion of helping people accomplish their dream of home ownership.

Buying a new home is a huge milestone in a person’s life whether it is their first home or their fifth. Clay believes in listening to a borrower’s history, goals and needs to better aide in choosing the best loan to pursue. He firmly stands on the statement that he does not believe in treating each of his clients as a transaction, but rather that he is joining his client on a personal journey with them.
