Mr. Toney was an amazing loan officer to work with. As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions and concerns, and he was there every step of the way. He even encouraged me to shop around and find the lender I felt most comfortable with, which showed that he truly cared about what was best for me. He was always willing to hop on the phone, and he never hesitated to explain things again when my father joined our calls. I especially appreciated how direct and honest he was throughout the process. Every question I had was answered with patience and care. When I told him that the numbers on one home did not make me comfortable, he completely understood. There was no pressure at all. After my realtor helped me find another home that was a better fit for my budget, I came back to Mr. Toney, and he made sure everything worked in my favor. Realistic expectations and advibe. It's really important to be as honest as possible with the home buying process because, let's be honest, it's not easy or straight forward a lot of the time. A lot can fluctuate like closing and down payment costs, program eligibility, down to even your monthly bills. It's equally if not more important to have a loan officer who communicates clearly and often with the underwriters to ensure all paperwork is turned in on time to avoid delays in closing which sucks Obviously. I appreciate how hard Toney worked for us and with us on all fronts. He was patient and we were not an easy loan or custome. Trixia was an amazing counterpart to Toney and complimented his professionalism with her own. the communication was constant, timely, clear, and helpful. Thank you very much
