Sean Lindsey

Yesterday, I closed on the purchase of a home. When initially seeking pre-approval, I solicited several companies, including New American Funding. When I called, soon, I was connected to Sean Lindsey. From our initial interaction, when I was \"tire kicking\" to my final close, Sean has been nothing less than EXTRAORDINARY. His excellent knowledge of the processes and procedures, excellent written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal demeanor, responsiveness, and professionalism are simply OUTSTANDING. Needless probably to add at this point, but I must, I am delighted.

We worked with Sean as first time home buyers, and given that that we had never done this before, we had hundreds (and hundreds, realistically) of questions about every aspect of the mortgage process. Sean was able to answer those questions every time, and even made himself available outside of normal business hours both to answer questions and to help speed along our application and closing. Throughout, he never once seemed fatigued by our constant need for communication, and made us feel very safe throughout the process. In order to make our offer more attractive to the seller, we set an extremely tight window for closing, and Sean went well above and beyond to make sure that we were able to hit that window. In fact, he got us to the finish line three days ahead of schedule, when others were saying that it was not possible to complete it in the original time frame. Closing can be an incredibly stressful time, so to have somebody who is competent, personable, organized, and efficient is crucial; Sean filled all those boxes, and then went far beyond them. We hope that Sean will still be available the next time we buy a house, because we don't know what we would have done without him! In the meantime, we will recommend New American Funding to everybody that we know, because of the great experience that we had.
