Once upon a time — because no good story starts any other way — there was a kid growing up in a military family, moving up and down the East Coast.
Every few years meant a new house, a new town, and another “For Sale” sign in the yard. While most kids were just trying to figure out the new school, Mike was unknowingly getting a front-row education in real estate as his parents bought and sold homes along the way.
Long before entering the industry professionally, he was already learning how the process worked.
Before moving fully into real estate and lending, Mike spent more than a decade as the co-owner and publisher of Focus Magazine, where he lived deep in the world of marketing, business strategy, and entrepreneurship. That experience sharpened his ability to solve problems, negotiate, and understand what actually drives decisions.
Along the way he also began investing in real estate himself — buying, renovating, renting, and flipping both residential and commercial properties. Eventually the natural next step was helping others navigate the process.
Today Mike works with clients on both sides of the transaction — real estate and financing — helping buyers, homeowners, and investors make smarter decisions when it comes to purchasing or refinancing property.
Because of his background in real estate, investing, and business, Mike approaches mortgages differently. He doesn’t just look at the loan — he looks at the entire deal.
Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading to the next one, refinancing, or building a real estate portfolio, his goal is simple:
Make the process clear, strategic, and a lot less stressful.
