Overall, our home loan process was completed successfully, but there were definitely areas that could be improved.
Initially, when David was our loan officer, our experience was frustrating at times. There were multiple mishaps throughout the process, including my email address being entered incorrectly, which created communication challenges. In addition, communication was often delayed, and it was difficult to get timely updates regarding the status of our loan.
After a period of not hearing from David, we were contacted by Brad. While it would have been appreciated if there had been more transparency regarding David no longer being with the company, Brad quickly stepped in and did an outstanding job. He kept us informed, answered our questions, and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. We are extremely grateful for his support and professionalism.
Elisa was also wonderful to work with. She was helpful, responsive, and contributed positively to our overall experience.
One area for improvement would be ensuring inclusivity when there are multiple borrowers involved in the transaction. Both buyers should be included on all communications, updates, and documentation whenever possible. This would help ensure everyone remains informed and engaged throughout the process.
While the beginning of our experience was challenging, Brad and Elisa helped turn things around, and we truly appreciate their efforts in helping us reach the finish line.
