SVP, Multi-Cultural Lending, New American Funding

Caroline Isern is the Senior Vice President, Multi-Cultural Lending at New American Funding. In this role, she leads the Latino Focus, NAF Dream, and Military Heroes Focus initiatives.

Through Latino Focus, the company identifies and addresses the challenges of Hispanic consumers in their pursuit of homeownership and to enhance the quality of their lending experience. Utilizing education and awareness, Latino Focus works to cohesively enhance the quality of the lending experience to Hispanic consumers, aiming to lift the community and build generational wealth through homeownership.

NAF Dream combines hard work, integrity, teamwork, and continuous learning to increase the rate of Black homeownership in America. Its purpose is to provide racial equity and build consumer confidence through homebuying education, accessibility to credit, and mortgage industry career opportunity awareness to Black communities.

New American Funding's Military Heroes Focus is a dynamic initiative to increase homeownership and career opportunities for military service members, veterans, and their families.

Caroline has 19 years of experience in the financial and real estate industry, nine of these executing award-winning multicultural and affordable lending, risk regulation and compliance, and relationship management strategies in residential lending implementing programs in the following areas: community development, affordable lending, consumer education, project management, and multicultural market expertise. 

Prior joining New American Funding, Caroline was the Senior Vice President Sales Performance Manager for Bank of America, responsible for developing and executing Divisional OCC regulatory and retail market plans focused on first-time homebuyers, low-to moderate income, and multicultural segments for the Southeast Region. She was also responsible for driving the National Community Reinvestment Coalition Housing Rehab Fund Growth initiative in 12 minority majority markets in efforts to deliver Community Revitalization Solutions and served on the Atlanta Hispanic Latino Growth Council, helping the Bank support Latino community initiatives in Atlanta.
