very bad company, do not inform people, they just want your information. that is my opinion, my brother have a very good credit and good job a lot of asset and they only offer him 70000 for a house which is ridiculous.

I wish the realtor I had didn't recommend this company. He wes better than the rest of what we dealt with But I don't recommend this company for mentally disabled first time home buyers We expected to be excited buying a home. Instead we are Left relieved that we barely got it after many last minute changes and financial requirements We are left mentally drained from Repeating last minute changes and requests and making last minute funds appear. Calling off additional work days for repeated last minute requests. We expected alot of stress but this was so much. Extra. No one was on the same page clear on up to signing moment. Because of existing anxiety We expressed from the beginning certain things important to us like name on deed. And financial expectations. Plus the Need for simplified break down because of comprehension. It didn't matter the underwriter Claudia rarely had time to talk to us from the start. When I had enough of not understanding I was upset at the quality of assistance and told the woman about her self about a month in we started calling other companies and banks for usefull information. The owner Gary eventually started handling a few voice calls with us and was much more professional. but claudia was still doing the paperwork and alot was still messed up every few days. It was clear she only communicated that I was upset and nothing about what we discussed prior by closing. Found out on closing day they never even included me in the paperwork and we left with less money than they told us we would one day prior to signing. And it would be another 2000 that day To put me on the deed... It was their mistake they were told since the begining but we were expected to pay even more last minute to fix it. This company made us pay to take a class. Then displayed multiple warning signs of exactly what the video says to watch out for. Promised a return of A certain amount and it was much less by signing. Closing costs listed don't ad up with money provided in the paper trail they needed and now have. Should I keep my cool. Yes. But. I shouldnt feel like we are being taken advantage of by a professional company. If it was just me I would have backed out weeks ago when I noticed the person in charge of our paperwork was calling us by other clients names and always to busy to explain things. With out the help of 2 banks an ex under writer, loan officer and some knowledgeable insurance agents and recent home buyers we would still be confused. closing costs are listed at ?6°° and we gave them 14400 But we only got 2900 back.... I'm sure we have an ok deal. And some where people worked hard to make it happen but integrity is important to me. Understanding is important. Especially in life decisions like this. This all in one company was not able to provide satisfactory service in my point of view. And we are waiting clarification of the final numbers a day after closing because we are still left confused why we didn't walk out with the conditions we were told. Also did not return calls of people wanting to help in the last minute financial requests with updates. The house is beautiful. I am happy about it but the other emotions surrounding the over all experience. I'm just still drained from the added anxiety of it.

I would highly suggest looking elsewhere. One of the agents rate locked me at 2%. Spent 60 days in underwriting, and then dropped my rate lock once rates had climbed from my "LOCKED" 2% to 3.5%. Thanks New American Funding! They told me they had used to many rate locks (6) in the past 45 days... If you are having doubts check out their reviews on BBB. They will blow your hair back.

Everything seemed to go ok.. besides the interest rate that I couldn’t see and I got a grant for like 6 grand that was supposed to go to closing and it looks like it went in their pocket.. like I purchased the house for $137,000 and the taxes were supposed to b covered by the seller. Now it’s tax time and I get the bill. Then I go to see why and the purchase price was $142,000 and I had to put 1,000$ Ernest money and bring 600 to closing and they got the property tax money of 2,200 which was supposed to go to my principle and the 6,000$ from the grant. So we r looking at close to 10,000 they spent like 2,000 on closing pocketed the grant money and added 5,000$ to my purchase price so there’s that.. then I get a million things in the mail for a home warranty they sold me and the seller.. and the realtor kio keeps saying he will bring me this basket for buying the new home and never did.. I guarantee next time I see him he will b like omg I’ll bring that basket by Monday frfrfr.. do urself a favor and shop around.. I’m a 100% disabled vet on a fixed income and they could care less.. they just want to Pocket the grant the tax money my Ernest money it is crazy.. RUN!!!

Absolute disappointment. It’s hard to even put in words. I went with a mortgage rep with many years of experience but it meant nothing. Go with a locally owned bank/mortgage lender. New American is a large corporation that uses underwriting based in California. Don’t expect local, logical or reasonable from this mortgage lender. I ended up going with a different lender that helped me secure my mortgage needs met quickly and with timely communication.

Jon Anderson mortage officer does not follow-up promptly. They also said, they don't use Minnesota down payment assistance. I found out they do. This location is awful. I don't recommended. Run away. They lack in communication. They didn't even help me apply or tell me about the program they work with to help raise my credit score so I could qualify for down payment assistance programs.

Bob was great to work with for the process of buying my home but talking to a customer service representative as they service my loan is the worst. They have no knowledge about mortgage give me and my partner wrong information every single time! and report our credit incorrectly. Every time I called and talk to a customer representative it is ALWAYS frustrating. Don’t recommend this company as a mortgage servicer.
