I was contacted by NAF looking to do a cash out refi. Agent Carolyn K. Was nice and seemed very confident that it can be after all paperwork etc was submitted. Next thing I know I was getting the runaround, told it would be 2-3 days then hearing nothing. I was calling and emailing 2-3 times a week. Then I got declined but Carolyn told me to wait until 1/15/25 and will get it done. That also had me emailing 2-3 times a week being put off time after time. I wasted money and time dealing with this company and agent. I urge everyone to look elsewhere

Jon was the worst, by far the most arrogant and inconsiderate person I've ever met. Simply does not communicate and when asked simple questions he replies with very rude statements in which I have record. Purchasing a home is already hard enough, so my advise to anyone wanting to purchase a home would be to use someone else who actually cares and wants to help with the biggest purchase of your life. The company for which he works is awesome and would highly recommend them. They should however consider reviewing their line up.

My only negative interaction during my entire refi process was with Andrew. His tone was rude and very condescending. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional and if it wasn’t for Kevin saving the refi, Andrew alone would have been able to be blamed for burn the entire deal for me and having me switch to another lender who actually wanted my business.

He hardly ever reached out to me. I had to ask Claudia VanHerwaaden what was going on with things. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION FROM DON. Claudia was great and she made this loan happen . I understand it was a difficult loan so I appreciate her hard work.

The entire process was disorganized from the beginning. After more than 2 months, I still don't have a penny of the money we borrowed and the closing documents we received are for another family. Where are my closing documents?

I suggest, if you are small business owner, you just keep shopping. They will treat you like an absolute criminal. Your good credit DOES NOT MATTER to these people. They are more interested in loaning to people who are not financially capable of paying the loan than they are successful small business owners. Unfortunately, I don't think they are the only ones like this. I think lenders in general are going to look at you as a small businessperson as a liability....regardless of your history of paying loand.

My agent Jason friend said he wants his commission as soon as possible and didn't want to listen to what I wanted. Never followed up on what he was supposed to do.
