Better communication and a more competitive product. While the team is working on intake, originatin, processing it is imperative the team shares and communicate with the buyer. This is one of the biggest purchases and even the most challenging transaction one will ever do in their life. To feel ignored or misinformed is fustrating. When the procesing team even makes a decision that is most beneficial to the buyer that also needs to be communicated. I also shared a competitive loan product from another lender and the adjustment made to meet it was insulting.

Furloughed federal worker? "We don't have any forbearance or deferral options for you other than one that will ruin your credit." Was pretty happy with NAF up until this. Would not recommend now.

If I could give No stars I would. Customer service is horrible. Just like the other person said. There just no words for it.

Communication between sales and closing. Closing actually doing their job and not waiting until the last minute. Tammy's manager was equally as bad. I can't believe that guy is in a management role. He never let me finish my sentance, cut me off several times, he didn't even have my file open when he called me - which is unbelievable. You know you are calling a customer who is unhappy, you should have their file up and ready so you can answer questions and do your best to help. NAF has lost out business for good. Do not call us and ask us to refinanc. the next time we do anything with our loan, it will be to tranfer it from NAF. I've been a customer of NAF for several years, since Alex Babinec left, the customer service is non existent

After obtaining my phone number through misleading marketing this company is repeatedly spamming me. The first time New American Funding called me I stated I wasn't interested and they said ok and we hung up. The second time I simply hung up on them without saying anything. Just now I was woken up from a nap from yet ANOTHER call from them, someone named Chad left me a voicemail trying to follow up. I already told them I wasn't interested. How does one logically follow up on someone who isn't interested? What's it going to take for these pushy sales folk to understand? The misleading marketing was a link that said "Click to see rates." I was then asked for my contact info. I reluctantly entered my contact info hoping that on the next screen I would see the rates. But nope. I just hope someone in the company will see this review and get my number removed from their spamming list.

Alot of these must be bought reviews because I've had the worst experience with this place then any other. A guy named Sam alhumdi was supposed to be helping me get a loan and there has been little to no communication and now it's been several weeks and he has apparently stopped replying to my messages, at this point I will look elsewhere!

This company is without a doubt the worse I've ever experienced on communication. They made initial contact and now have all of our personal information and documents and we've not heard from them since! Buyers beware!

As a human experience professional, in a people centric business it is crucial every interaction is built upon human beings caring for other human beings. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. What I did experience was inconsistency, lack of professionalism and concern for its customers. Pouyan was my first touch point and was responsive, respectful, kind and highly effective with communicating the process and next steps. As soon as I was handed off to the loan processor Kerissa, it all went down hill from there. I went from being well informed to having to ask repeatedly where we were in the process. “Will contact in 10-14 days” turned into 21 days. When I was finally contacted I was asked about whether or not I would like to include May’s current mortgage payment into the loan. May 2020 was supposed to be the loan closing date. I gratefully said yes and promptly rearranged my budget and updated my current mortgage company. Extra funds in the midst of the crisis and pandemic was welcomed. I get a call on May 21st to be ‘updated’ on my loan. “I made a mistake and you now have to pay your May mortgage payment because we cannot close this month.” Seriously? Mind the before mentioned rearranged budget comment above. Being upset, I asked to speak with her manager. When Kimberly called, I was met with contempt, “I don’t know what you are referring to” (in regards to why she was calling), attitude rather than empathy for the mistake that her team had made. This mistake was a costly one for me the customer...again in the midst of this crisis. Here’s the deal; I understand people are human and mistakes are made. In my field, when mistakes are made people can die. So WHEN they are made, empathy and care are the only way to approach it not excuses, attitude and “what do you want me to do about it?” And “did she tell you to not make your mortgage payment” Yes, and I have it in writing. You are human beings engaging with human beings: it would be great if that simple formula was the basis of all interactions. Someone needs to scale Pouyan’s skills for the rest of the experience. And I’m giving this a one star because of the negative impact for our family. Please do better for others, especially when people are suffering in the midst of Covid-19. #healthcarelife
