Very disappointed in the company. Before applying we let them know that my wife was currently in the prodded of switching jobs (same pay same position just a new company) I was assured that this wouldn’t be an issue and to go ahead and apply. Fast forward a couple of weeks and now it’s an issue that she doesn’t have two pay full time pay stubs with this new company. This company has made promises that they haven’t been able to keep and going forward I will not be doing business with them because I do not trust them.

DO NOT USE THIS LENDER!!!! Absolutely the worst experience for my clients that I have ever experienced as a Real Estate agent!! They're underwriters held my clients in limbo and homeless for two weeks after the closing with ridiculous request after ridiculous in most case they would ask for the same documents and information over and over again. Some documents they ask for and received 6 times while holding up the closing and making everybody on both sides of the transaction wait on pins and needles before they ultimately released the loan!!

Worst company for a mortgage, I was conversing with a NEIL OROZCO, he has a very sarcastic attitude, most loan officers get paid off of commission due to your loan, you would think they would have more respect to get you to close with them. I have talked back and forth with this individual for a couple of weeks telling him I needed a prequal/preapproval asap. I gave him everything he needed, then after a couple of days, he needs one more thing, then a week later, I need one more paper. Utterly ridiculous customer service, I am highly disappointed. Thank goodness I was talking to other mortgage companies to close on a deal because if I had to wait on this guy, who by the way STILL hasn't emailed me back because he doesn't pick up the phone, I would've been S.O.L from buying a home. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Matthew lacked in communication. Matthew had little patience with us. Very unprofessional. He constantly lied to us regarding closing. Had to involve supervisor to see results. He was the worst. Would NEVER refer. Don't get involved with this company!

Laura has been the best loan consultant. But the experience with closing the loan is the worst. I have the feeling Chris didn't want to close the loan. My request to change to another Escrow agent was just ignored. Even worst, the disbursement date according to WellsFargo is Feb 04, but Prominent said Feb 02, sent check on Feb 08. Why? I couldn't even call Kadie, Prominent, on the phone to ask questions. I don't understand what stops them from making the process transparent. Just to get a few more hundreds from me?

I was bombarded with requests for information from underwriting one piece at a time. Each time the package was sent back through, it came back requesting one or two pieces of information. The information was immediately provided, sent back again, comes back requesting more information. That would be be provided, would be provided and the same thing would happen again. This happened at least five times. Each time it would cost money to extend the closing. I had to give them an ultimatum of the absolute last day I would allow this to continue (two days). That was the only way to get it through, they attempted to extend, I refused. Lo and behold it was sent to the lawyer. Stay away from this company. They cannot work with the appraisers and underwriting to get complete lists of the information needed to get the job done without driving the client out of their minds. Never use them!!

The real estate agent that I worked with was an absolute joke. She referred me to New American Funding and I was satisfied with the process until today. I specifically asked Sean if they would sell .you loan at any time and he told me 'we do not sell our loans. Your loan will stay with us.' I came home today to find a letter in my mailbox stating they sold the loan to Freddie Mac! Had I known this would happen if would have stayed with Wells Fargo for my new house since they held my previous loan for over 6 years and never sold it! I am beyond upset that they would flat out lie. I do not recommend this company. They clearly have no integrity and do not value their customers. What a terrible way to do business.

Attempted to refinance with these jokers. Zero stars. Completely unprofessional. Andrei Atanasiu ignores your phone calls and emails once he finds out your file isn't an easy close. He'll stop answering your calls and emails. I had to call a loan processor who was copied on one of my emails, just to figure out there was a problem with debt to income ratio. Once there is a problem, the rep is done, and onto the next prospect. Very unprofessional. Glad this happened because if they actually were servicing my real mortgage, I would be a little worried right now. We weren't even using my wife's income yet. Find a new company to work with.
