I’ll start off with, you will get A loan. They will tell you everything you want to hear. They will tell you one thing on the phone and it will change once you receive your disclosure. I received the wrong payoff balances and some that were paid off years ago. Told them multiple times to fix these before we closed but they just acknowledged me and never did anything to fix it. Jonathan Marlowe was rude to me and failed to answer his phone 99% of the time during our loan process. Would tell me one thing and the next day it would change and there were days and days that would go by with no information and his excuse was we weren’t his highest priority. But thanks for giving me a loan that I can’t use to payoff anything, real fun experience! Apart from us waiting awhile to get our appraisal done, the rest of the process took months so don’t expect to close as fast as any other mortgage or refi.

So I had had issues last year because I moved states and became a 1099 employee there's hiccups with verifying my employment I get that. So after my first mistake, applying and having my credit ran and employment not being accepted IN 2020, through another lender, I waited a year and then tried again with Rich. Due to the issues I had the previous year I had asked Rich weather or not my work history will be acceptable for a home loan through his company... after about a month of back and forth providing him with all of my income verification forms tax returns etc.. he said yes were good to move forward. My credit was ran and 3 weeks later I'm told no its not enough work history.... This is dirty and underhanded and you need to do better. This is Unacceptable! I now have a tick on my credit that was 100% avoidable had he been honest and said unfortunately its not enough work history come back in 2022, but instead you lied to me and now I'm screwed. Thanks for nothing.

This review is on behalf of my parents. Angela Thurston Poindexter was the worst person that they've ever had to deal with. She lacked communication to the point of my parents not being able to get a hold of her. My parents were buying a house here from out of state, they needed to know what was going on with the loan. Angela texted most of the time and it was usually one word answers. She always seemed to be somewhere other than the office when she did actually answer her phone. Plus, she wanted to constantly talk about personal stuff. She also lost or misplaced important paperwork and had to request my parents to send it again, like a copy of their drivers licenses, something they gave the first time meeting with her. With her being so slow and non-communicative, it was making my parents question why they're even trying to get a loan from this company. She also somehow got them a homeowners insurance policy from a company that my parents didn't even want. They didn't even know that she did that for them. It didn't start becoming smooth until they finally had contact with the loan processor. The loan processor was the one to catch the homeowners insurance policy from a company my parents never agreed to or even knew about and switched to the one my parents had gotten themselves. Angela didn't end up finally contacting them until the day before they closed on the house, she hadn't talked to them for about a week and a half before that. Luckily the loan processor was very communicative and helped the process along easily for them. They never want to deal with Fairway again after this mess. Plus, their agent never wants to cross paths with Angela again, she even gave him a big headache.

Sadly, we did not have the best experience or hardly an experience at all with Blanca from New American Funding. We were recommended to her by people we were actually in escrow with at the time, Blanca touched base with us one time on a three way call after our realtor reached out to her. We then set up a phone call to go over our finalized application and she didn't respond to emails for weeks, would schedule a call and something would come up, would schedule a call and not even tell us if she had to cancel, would schedule a call and then expect us as the client to call her- when she asked for me to call her, I did. I called both of the phone numbers listed in her email and did not get an answer. I reached out by email to tell her that I tried both numbers but did not get an answer and have not heard back from her since. If she did not want to work with us or did not see a future with us, she should have said that. She has not acknowledged any situation and instead has left us in the dark. If anyone plans to go through this company for any funding, I would highly suggest not being assigned or choosing to work with Blanca as a consultant.

The worst experience ever. Not responsive, hardly reachable. Do not trust him when he says he will credit you points towards closing cost.

BAD SERVICE. BAD COMMUNICATION. Applied for a refinance. Spent lots of time putting my packet of Employment history, debt history, financial history etc. together, then complete silence. After two weeks, I called and nothing. Called again and crickets. Left an email, and again complete and utter silence. What a joke. I took my business elsewhere and I would suggest the same for you.
