All documents created by American Funding were incorrect. Clay Smith assured us all items would be corrected prior to closing. At closing all documents were still incorrect, however he assured us that he would make things right. Clay will tell you what ever he thinks you want to hear. NAF provided the same incorrect data to the Title company, all of their documents are also incorrect. Still waiting on Clay to correct the issues as he promised on multiple occasions.This was the worst Real Estate transaction I have ever experienced.

Unfortunately , this the second time in the last 60 days my clients and I have had to deal with new American funding and the headaches they cause with the lack of communication and sense of urgency. Both experiences would have been better for both my sellers if the issues of the files would have been found before day of closing.

I asked him direct questions regarding closing status and he has yet to respond or acknowledge that I asked. We closed later than scheduled yesterday. I represented the Buyer and Seller.

New American funding is not a place I would ever recommend anybody getting alone from. They did so many things which were wrong. I can’t even begin to spell them all out, but I would highly recommend staying away from this company.

Was hoping for a good experience but got the opposite My credit was run before she ever had all of the documents. Then she insists that she needed documents that she already had and is terrible about keeping in communication. Would not recommend.
