It was not clearly explained to us that you would close an account at a different bank. This has caused major issues for us. We also had a 5% HELOC and now we are paying 9%. This is outright robbery and ridiculous. Communication was horrible. Way to catch us with the fine print.

The poor handling of our processing was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced through multiple loans with multiple brokers and direct banks. I am happy that we finally closed ~5 months after starting the process, but most don’t have the luxury of that amount of time.

Just the real lack of communication from the Loan Officer. Loan was in process over 60 days and we still had to jump through many last min hoops. Communication by AJ was just horrible. If problems were communicate early on or even within two weeks of closing they would have been solved from all involved. Again, thanks to Larry Finkelberg for stepping in to make it happen.
