I've purchased 4 homes and refinanced 3 times and this was the most disorganized and unnecessarily elongated refinance experience I've every undergone. The entire team was uncommunicative, unorganized and slow. To find out anything I would have to reach out myself only to hear anything a week our more later. The amount of documentation requested was excessive and spread out so widely we nearly lost our lock. I will NEVER recommend New American to anyone.

I’ve used NAF at least 3 other times and this was the worst experience by far. Horrible communication, wouldn’t answer all my questions, quoted me one thing at the beginning and was given something totally different later even though nothing changed. In the past, the LO’s would take the time to explain my options, provide status updates and always answer my questions without any hesitation. Won’t be using this lender again

Initially Ashley K. was very nice, however she was not very honest. She stated that she would look at the documents we submitted and get back to us. Thankfully we checked with multiple lenders because Ashley didnt return my call. I called her to get a status update for our application, and was once again told that she would call back the same day. Well it never happened. I received a blast email and decided to let her know I received funding elsewhere. She will pull your credit and disappear!

Communication was not the best but the biggest issue is that we had a 45 day pending period and we did not close on time. Absolutely ridiculous.

Communication horrible. All new information was presented on the day of closing. Will never use again unless forced by DR Horton.

Communication throughout was terrible! I had to do two separate closings and full document signing, both without any notification of date and time from the lender. The only reason I learned I was closing is the title company called and said I couldn't close in my home as I was told, but had to drive over an hour away with a couple hours notice. Then the escrow was wrong because they pulled someone else's property tax records, even though I provided a current tax bill to the lender. TERRIBLE!

Clear, proper, and timely communication leading up to closing. Not the day of closing asking for last minute exceptions. I am extremely disappointed, dissatisfied, and discussed at the level of service received.

Communication, there was very little of that . The only person I really talk to was Kelly she was a great deal of help Jennifer was not any help in communication and trying to talk to her about almost anything for about two and a half to three months. It was as if nobody new what they was doing. I went threw three different loan's . Deffently a terrible experience!!!
