My husband and I were lied to from the beginning. We were never made aware of anything including any fees that needed to be paid, etc. Communication was nearly non existent unless we asked for a meeting. Heather kept changing things without our knowledge or approval. Completely disgusted with this office personnel and this company. We were told we would get all of our documents back and now they refuse to give it to us. Some of which were ORIGINAL signatures and papers. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!

Prompt review and feedback on requested materials. As an example I sent all paystubs etc. Then 3 weeks later received a request to resubmit as Barbara couldn't print them. Similar things happened throughout the process. I also frequently got urgent request for bank statements after close of business Saturday etc, absolutely ridiculous for my 1 bank that doesn't have online access to statements.

From moment of appl wrong info for condo missing fee info all that was provided by borr before appl. Horrible responses very defensive and constantly talking about her experience from past. Responses borderline abusive in nature. Lacked required details of items needed which greatly impacted borr and gift donor and lost a full week of nothing done which impacted borrs loan objection date. Regret using her, and New American and their inflated predatory appr fee of $850. Will never use again

Actually getting answers to questions and being informed from the beginning would be great. We had to request two extensions for our consultant, and our closing was therefore pushed twice. We never felt like a priority.

When you are dealing with the public, building relationships is one of the most important skill sets. We have followed up with Brittany several times after our loan has processed with questions and Brittany has been unhelpful with self help tools, resources and what next steps would look like. We recently called Brittany for general questions about how to retrieve tax documents and her response was “it is the weekend and I am out with my kids”. Unprofessional.

She could have answered at least one of my phone calls. I never was able to reach her. She would see that I called and would rather email me than simply return my call. Also she never once called me to let me know that closing was going to be delayed. I got to the attorneys office at 4:00 and we did not get to sign anything until 7:45. Again, she does not return phone calls AT ALL. poorest communication ever

I contacted Brittany McLendon on June 9 about purchasing my first home. She was on vacation and suggested I utilize her website to fill out an application so she could review it upon her return. I filled out the application and submitted all requested documentation. On June 19, I received an email from Brittany's colleague about ways to quickly increase my credit score. I replied detailing what I had already done and what I would not be doing at this time. I asked if there was a way to proceed with the information I had already given. As of July 7, I have not yet received a response and my application on the website still shows in the review stage. Since New American Funding has proved unresponsive, I have been in contact with a different lender in the area, who has quickly provided me a pre-approval letter. I will not continue to pursue a business relationship with New American Funding, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

She lied and has put me in more debt than before I started after taking her advice and now my savings is almost depleted. She was silent the majority of my process. I CALLED HER 1 day before closing, just for her to say, I'm still working on your file. No initiated conversation from her. This space isn't large enough for me to explain what I endured JUST for me to not be in a home. I did everything she asked and SHE DROPPED THE BALL!!!
