We learned about New American funding through Lending Tree and were contacted quickly submitting our form. Heather was nice during initial calls but things went downhill quickly, The process was slow and communication was awful. There were mistakes made like not factoring both of our incomes for loan. We contacted management after zero responses to multiple emails. We went with another lender and we closed with them yesterday, had zero issues. Please look elsewhere for mortgage loan!

Heather talks big game, but did not deliver. She continued to mention that she deserves our trust, but instead ended up going backwards on everything that she had promised and kept blaming the builder for all of our issues, when realistically, she was not ready. She did not do research on our specific closing costs, and instead just used generalized closing cost numbers, which costed us $12,000 more that what we had planned for. Very friendly, but not worth the amount of money we lost.

Communication was beyond subpar. They requested 2 extensions for the loan and even when we had a closing date set weeks in advance, my client had to wait 3 hours after her scheduled closing time for paperwork to be sent over. I will never recommend this company to any of my clients.

An unpleasant experience is putting it lightly. Heather is very unprofessional in her job. Being in her position, I should not have had to listen to her complain about how her marriage of a year or so in starting to crumble or that her daughter is alway sick, being her reasons for not doing as she said she would. It also means that she should not tell your company one thing and tell me another. I had to go over her head to actually make it to my closing even though I was approved for a while.

Dude wouldn't stop pestering me for a review even after I asked him to stop. Process went well, had too many cooks in the kitchen at one point and they weren't all on the same page.

Never communicated, had to contact the branch manager to get any movement. Found out 2 days before we were suppose to close that we were going to. Then instead of giving me a closing date she told me she couldn’t give me that information. Her as well as the LOA were extremely rude as if the service was a favor. This has been by far the worst customer experience I’ve had in my life. I’ve been telling my friends to never go though her.
