Poor communication. I always had to reach out to her and then wait a week for a response. Never new what was going on with process. Sending in duplicate documents. Completely gave false information with rate and closing costs. Stated my interest rate would be higher to keep closing cost down...then closing costs went up but no decrease in interest rate. Started process on June 12...closed on October 23. Worst experience I have ever had with a refinance!!

I have applied for over 15 mortgages in my life and this by far and away this has been the most frustrating and unorganized process that I have ever experienced. A process that was supposed to take less than 45 days ended up running close to 90 days due to their ability to be organized. Their disorganization was baffling as I would be asked for the same info multiple times. Unfortunately, I am limited to 500 characters so I can't really express my true discontent with this company.

The process initially started off okay and pleasant. But, soon after the communication was poor. I received conflicting information from my loan officer. He promised a lender credit of X amount and when I got the disclosures, it was significantly less than promised. I was told there was an error and this was fixed. Unfortunately, that was not the only “error” in the process. His team seemed disjointed and unorganized. I was given incorrect info numerous times.

I was mislead, communication was a nightmare my emails were ignored or answered rudely. For example I asked why there was an out of pocket cost to me when I was told my refinance was no cost, first response was "bad timing" 2nd response was "I can't pay your taxes and insurance for you" That is not an explanation. I've worked with NAF since 2014 this was my third refinance & only NEGATIVE experience but bad enough to want to find a new lending company & definitely not work with same loan officer
