Incompetence was displayed at all levels. Inabiliy to communicate unless I specifically reached out. Withheld information even when specifically asked for. Miscalculated taxes EVERY SINGLE TIME even when they were advised of the details by our agent. Underwriter holding the proceedings hostage and ineffectively communicating the reasons doing so. Telling us and the agents that it takes four hours to process closing and then telling us the next day that they usually take 24 hours. Shady. Incompetent. Sellers informed us that they wanted to get lawyers involved because of the absolute nightmare that your enployees turned this into. Will never recommend NAF to anyone.

Do not provide false information, and know all aspects of not paying the morgage payment while refinancing so a late fee is not assessed to the borrower. I will not refinance with NAF ever again.

Review by Loryn Ninesling for Colleen Rodriguez

Completed transaction on April 8, 2026

Colleen was extremely rude and unprofessional. Our closing date changed like four or five times. She submitted documents late multiple times. She sent us documents late multiple times. She would blame the pushbacks on the state taking a long time to process documents, however, she was sending us documents 2 and 3 days before our original closing date. Isn't it her job to know how long the state takes to process these things? And isn't it her job to submit the documents to us on time to sign so that we can get them back to her on time? When I informed her that my husband was starting a new job the week after we were supposed to close, she got upset at us and blamed my husband for accepting a new job and telling them he could work after we were supposed to move in. Anytime we would bring up an issue it was never her fault, she was always "doing her best." When I asked for recompensation for the gas we were having to spend driving back and forth to and from his new job (almost 3 hours of driving a day) she ignored us and got upset that my husband accepted that job. She also didn't communicate anything to us. Our realtor was the one to tell us our move-in date got pushed back like every time it happened. It was a horrible experience all around with Colleen. The loan processor, the other lady was completely fine, we loved her. Colleen was the only one who was completely unprofessional.

Review by Allison R Martin for Malcolm Arrington

Completed transaction on April 2, 2026

Malcolm lied to me about my monthly payment. He made me FEEL listened to, and made me feel like he was giving me accurate information, made me feel like I could trust what he was telling me. It has come to show that the information was entirely incorrect and he lied to get me to go through with this process, thinking that at the end I would be in better standing. I am out $4500 in order to have a r*te reduction, he told me my monthly payment would drop by over $250. I raised concerns to him that I saw in the paperwork, seeing a big difference, on the paperwork it said it would go down by $80, which would NOT be worth spending $4500. He ensured me that the paperwork was including other costs that I typically pay separately from the mortgage, he told me the paperwork required it to be included, that my actual payment would come in over $200 less than what the paperwork displayed. This was a lie. My payment is now exactly the number the paperwork said it would be. I have been trying to discuss this issue with him, and I have been essentially ignored for the past 4 days. All I want is to not feel like I suffered a loss due to this refinancing, and I want to know someone cares to make this right. I decided to trust him, one of your experts, a senior loan officer who should know what hes talking about and be trustworthy. Trusting him was a mistake, one I will not be making again, I will recommend everyone I know to look elsewhere for a mortgage, and when it comes time for me to make a change, I will be looking for a different company as well.
