My personal experience was not all bad, however I did not feel like there was enough communication. I was not privy to info until the last minute and in my opinion it came off as unprofessional. For a period of time I felt as though I was getting the run around. Once Mr. Hamilton and I did talk things took a immediate turn for the best! Once he and I started talking on a regular everything ran smoothly. Had this happened from the beginning, I would've surely given 5 stars instead of 3.

Better communication throughout. It started off good but dwindled towards the end.

Brandon was great! However the underwriter was terrible. I have bought many homes in my life but I have never seen a lender ask for so many items. I would never use New American again and would not recommend them to anyone. Brandon was great, it's the underwriter and complete process that is awful

The commutation wasn’t the best with Chris and I thought he was a bit rude at times when I didn’t understand the loan process and the reasons for somethings but I do know he worked hard on our loan and do appreciate that and it came through that part was great but the way he was when someone didn’t understand everything was not great had me in tears many times

I was sent multiple closing worksheets/loan disclosures and each time the closing costs and other expenses needed to close increased. My cash to close jumped from $200 to $1600 3 days before closing and I was forced to wire the funds. I was promised a $35 gift card to reimburse me for the wiring fee which I never received. I was also told that I needed a 620 score for my loan approval. At time of my disclosure and closing I had a 622 but I was still required to obtain a co buyer/co signer.
