When this started told Helen did not want any closing costs. She said no closing costs and then all of a sudden I had a wire over $2,000 by the end of it 25 December 31st did that. Now all of a sudden it says that that loan is closed they're still trying to say I owe one payment left told Helen I wasn't wiring over $2,000 and then turn around and having to make a house payment she stated that my next house payment would be February 1st that's not what's going on my bank account is upside down now

Not be lied to or or have agent understand what he keep promising over and over and over before last second take thousands of dollars from us. Looking at legal options.

Communication, communication, communication from our loan advisor. Took days to weeks to get back to us with any inquiry. There was a point in the middle where it was several weeks of hearing nothing after us reaching out multiple times via email, call, text and hearing nothing. After reaching out to support for help on these questions, i got the run around then too. The only saving grace was eventually complaining enough that customer service directed me to our loan processor who actually did answer and helped us. Without her, im sure we'd still be waiting on answers and wouldnt have closed yet. Also you guys not trying to change the price AFTER we signed papers at a different price. That felt scummy on your companies part.

I have experienced several issues and to date still no resolution and no follow up. I made the biggest mistake in chosing New American Funding. The lack of accountability is mind blowing.

Fees were waived over the phone only to appear later in loan documents with no explanation. I had to read every word of the disclosures to find fee changes with no heads up from Cardinal. Lots of bluster and acted like they were doing me some kind of favor. At the end of the day, I had to pay additional fees to keep the rate they quoted me and ended up with more closing costs than my original lender. No reason to choose Cardinal over anybody else. I will refinance at the first opportunity.

Having someone who actually communicated, didn't charge me for interstate on days we didn't have the loan because of his negligence and acted we weren't just a quota he was trying to reach. Worst experience ever.
