I have been happy with them to day, however... I am writing bc I waited to speak to a manager today but apparently none were available. I would HIGHLY suggest some type of training be done with some of your reps on the topic of your forbearance program. Back in Oct when we were offered this program it was very clearly explained that for the 3 months of the program that those payments would be put at the end of our loan and I even asked the rep if payments were due during this time and was CLEARLY told No. Fast forward to today when I have received multiple calls asking if we could make a payment and even had a late fee hit the account this week (which was removed by the rep yesterday). I was on biweekly payments prior to the program as well. When I sent in the forms to restart the biweekly payments I was informed the account had to be made current, which is when I discovered what I was told back in Oct. to be ver inaccurate about not making payments. So today I brought the account current paying over $3,000. Then was told that in order to get back on the biweekly payments I would also have to make Jan & Feb payments (another $4,000)! I was NEVER made aware of what a complete disaster and mess up this program would cause!

Beginning of process went very smooth. Was given under 24 hours to sign final papers or get charged daily for every day after which was very frustrating due to work and life schedules for 2 people. Wasn't impressed by that and communication of it at the end...

i was drawn to NAF by an advertisement stating no money down. I knew I could get a grant. I told her I had little to no money for down payment. I brought to her attention again she made it happen in August. The closing cost was issue. She said I needed 11k I told her not happening. I also told her my monthly payment had to be less $1,000. That didn’t happen either. It’s not that she made a mistake. Is that what she told me it would happen but it didn’t . Two days prior to closing she told me I have to come up with $2000 more. I don’t know where her head was at?. There’s no way I could do it. She said she’d go back in calculate or put it somewhere else. it was just too much. She could work wonders, and then she couldn’t. She could do it and then she couldn’t. That was my only issue with her. At the end, it worked out, but it’s the in-between that had me wondering what would happen next.

This was our first home purchase. The process was extremely new to us and we could have used more communication and deeper detail into what everything meant. Lack of prompt communication was a big thing for me.
