They one star only because there no option to do less than that. These people are TERRIBLE! My son used them to purchase our house and it was a disaster. They have led my son on for weeks with a mortgage and did not write it correctly, which caused us to delay a closing. Mychael is inept and dishonest! The delayed closing also caused a subsequent closing cancellation. Documentation was never sent to the Title company and when it was brought to their attention that the mortgage was not correct (funding was all wrong) Mychael advised doing an addendum to the mortgage telling my son that it would not delay the closing. NOT TRUE! They then went and cancelled the closing and did not tell any of us. Buyer beware with this company!

Absolutely Zero Stars!!! Worst experience ever!!. Dealing with New American Funding in CA. Since May 1st been getting the run around. Turns out someone entered the wrong figures in computer and made it look like my Debt ratio was to high. There is no way this is even possible. I own 6 homes and 2 that have no mortgage on them, Free and clear..Was told I would have an answer today...Guess what??!! Not!!!! Now its Monday again. I only wanted to do an equity line for 15,000.00 and got talked into doing a refinance. Do yourself a favor and stay away from New America Funding!!!

I spoke with Matthew (NMLS# 838672) about a refi to get lower my mortgage time frame. I have over 20k in the bank account mind you and proved that. I have a low mortgage 80k, on a house that is worth 260k. This man calls my phone and emails me 100 times a day even when I ask not to be called while I am at work ( didn't listen). Everything is great it is all approved per his email the night before, somehow at 7 am it is not. I get a nice email that states," Thank you for applying but it is not approved bye bye now". What a scam. I should have listened to the other terrible reviews. Now I am concerned about my bank information and if it is safe.
