The amount of time it took for us to get this loan was absurd. We weren't being kept up to speed on what was taking so long, and it ended up causing us to have to provide additional documents because of the slippage. If you tell a customer a date, stick to the date.

The information we were provided was not always timely and accurate. The initial loan application information that we requested to be changed, specifically removal of the escrow account. Kalee told us not to worry about it, and that it would be taken care of later. Several weeks later we received a Closing Document that still contained the escrow account. When we requested to have it removed, we were informed that the loan fees would be higher. Why didn't Kalee tell us this weeks earlier?

the person we had dealt with at the end did not get the job done on time. Found out an hour before closing, we didn't have clear to close. Had mortgage commitment for over a week and she had told us that she asked buyers to move costing an extra week out, which was done at signing of contract when date was changed a week out with initials. Also, to hang up on my buyer's after not getting them to the closing table with zero communication, is astounding. Very unprofessional.

More regular updates even if its just to let customers know things are still being processed or delayed due to holidays.

The underwriting company changed the date 4 times on us. When we tried asking what was going on no one knew. I was 9 months pregnant with my son and they kept changing everything on us it was stressful. The last time they changed it my husband called and spoke with a manager because we was fed up with no one being able to help us or tell us what was going on.
