Everything was fine at first but then miscommunication started to happen. We were told that we were pre-approved but then we found out that we weren’t a couple weeks later due to employment verification. We didint know either until I called and asked. The worst was when our file was given to the loan processor Zipporah Francis. Her communication was HORRIBLE! Never let us know when she received our documents and she didn’t have the Closing docs ready for settlement. We sat at settlement for 3 hours just to be told that the docs were not coming. I called zipporah multiple times but no answer and no return call. Very unprofessional. Then she sent in the incorrect closing docs on the second settlement date as well. This process would have been better if we did not get zipporah as our loan specialist. Gillen was fine.

I provided all info and didn’t get a call if approval. I had to find out if I was approved. Once my loan was approved it went smoothly until I had to work with the next person. Again slow and lack of communication.

We got NO communication for a week. Come to find out Nick had Covid19. But, it still would have been nice to hear something someone. We went a week after the estimate was done. We figured the loan was up in the air and may not work.... Then, every thing was a go a week later. But for that we my wife and I were worried.

Better communication on what the process will require and when. For example, I asked if there was anything that needed to be done from my end and was told no. Then a few days later was told I needed to retrieve a few documents which were difficult to retrieve by that time. Being given more information on what to expect ahead of time would be helpful.
