Poor communication and inability to reach someone who can assist is a huge drawback. There should always be a back-up person assigned when the assigned person can't respond due to scheduled time off or sick leave, etc. There were atleast 3 documented times when I couldn't reach someone because they were out of office or ill but the issue I was addressing was critical. This shows a need for a proper fall-back system for someone else to proxy or address customer concerns in a timely manner.

Took too long to close. Loan processor Jacqueline was unresponsive and keeps asking for same documents. Does not notify you of documents needed and loan gets delayed. Will go elsewhere next time.

Communication through the entire loan process, from acceptance of contract to closing. The agent, who is the face of the transaction, the one that has the in-person interaction and is responsible for all the contractual documents, negotiations and communication to the selling agent is left in the dark after the contract has been accepted. The lack of communication creates unnecessary difficulties through the transaction amongst all parties.
