We have transacted business previously with NAF to reasonable outcomes. This experience was dysfunctional, incompetent, and misrepresentational. Rob Briggs did not represent us well as clients, instead choosing to put himself and his commission as his #1 priority. Along with poor follow up, we had a VERY unfair valuation on our property, which I provided Rob with proof of its inaccuracy. He agreed, so I asked him to please fight for us, which he determined not to do. Never work with him.

A lack of communication is an understatement. I am a 30 yr. Successful professional realtor and i was lost. I received an email congratulating us that our refiI had funded on Tuesday October 20th. I am sstill waiting for confirmation that our refi recorded, its been 10 days. This has been the norm. It took over 70 days to do this simple refi. We almost walked away when docs were received. The CD had a higher interest rate and had to be revised...its been a mess.

it would have been better if we received the correct information.....we were told our loan payment would decrease by $300. ..In reality it only decreased by $97.

This was my third time purchasing a house and by far the worst experience possible ever. I felt like i got taken advantege of, interest given to me when applied and right before closing change by a lot even tho interest on market actually dropped, and waiting to tell me at the end gave me no chance to look elsewhere for loan. I would not recommend newamerican no anyone else, company doesn't seem like it knows what is doing.

Communication was sporadic, files sent late with little time to complete. Her associates asked for info, when given, they waited critical days to request more info that could have been given in the first request.

The process would've been pleasant had it been taken seriously. Documents were misplaced continuously, papers weren't sent on time for closing, everything has to be expressed to customer so that they can govern themselves accordingly & if you don't do something, it's not good to try & make the client look bad. There needs to be some additional on the job training to make sure everything is carried out in a professional manner.
