BE AFRAID of this snakes promises. all documented with CS. I spoke to Jeff originally indicating my financial situation and desire to be approved for both my current mortgage and new mortgage otherwise we wouldn't be able to make this work. he indicated that would not be a problem, then 2 weeks to closing it magically became a problem. he lies and manipulates to get buyers excited about their new home so they will take unnecessary risks to get to closing despite not being able to afford the debt

I had to continuously follow up for information going days or weeks without a response. Our closing disclosures had incorrect information on them multiple times- such as interest rate and cash due at closing. I felt as though I was working with someone who kept trying to pull one over on me and was untrustworthy. I work as a large accounts ma in wealth management & was appalled with the servicing of my refinance with this company. We closed but I will be moving my loan elsewhere in the future.

There were mistakes everywhere, and still are on our documents. When this individual spoke, it was so fast I got off phone calls feeling frustrated and unsure of the communication with poor explanation. I will not do business with New American again, nor will I advise others to. The loan processor only wished to communicate by email making transmitting paperwork difficult. Her emails were full of typos. I was disgusted by the lack of professionalism by both individuals.

Sean was great at first and stayed on top of everything. The second the file got moved to processing we never heard from him and he did not help get the transaction closed on time. It's like he disappeared.

To work with someone that dose not ignore my phone calls I realize I am not his only client it took Scott 3 weeks to return 1 of my phone calls very unprofessional my journey started on August 22nd.closed on April 28th. I know there were a lot of hurdles to overcome Scott could have been a lot more helpful myself and my husband feel that we should have been paid for all the leg work we did not Scott

We started our refinancing in July. By September we were still in limbo without any updates. Many of our friends and family members who started their refinancing after us had already closed. We attempted to contact Scott many times by email and phone and did not get any response. Finally we called his supervisors and suddenly we closed in days. At least I think we are closed since our current account shows a zero balance. We have not received any notification from anyone.
