It took almost 3 months to close. It took almost two to even find out if we were approved. The lack of communication was horrible. Had a difficult time having anyone get back to me. Seemed like I had to keep repeating myself to everyone as there where multiple people involved in this loan. The day of close, had my loan wrong. My mtg payment ended up being a lot higher than told. Ended up signing loan docs past midnight because the loan had to close that day. Horrible experience.

Despite an email he sent stating he would call me, he never did. There were many errors on the initial disclosures that would have never occurred had he picked up the phone. I had an issue with my interest rate and he informed me he would talk to my loan officer, but even after a week, never did. Terrible service and not something you want to deal with having such a sensitive time line for home purchases.

Such a disappointment when my clients decided to go with New American Funding. Loan Officer Scott Sheedy went MIA, multiple messages to his manager Kip went unanswered, last minute conditions were put on by underwriting. As a realtor, I strive to offer the best possible service and be readily available to my folks....New American Funding was just the opposite. For buyers, there are many other options...stay clear of New American Funding.

We filled out the application to Refinance in the middle of July 2016. We provided everything that was asked for to complete the process in a very timely manner. It wasn't until the middle of October that I inquired as to what was the delay! That's when I was told that more information was required to satisfy underwritting. We Provided that information within a day, and still did not close until Dec. 26th. Very dissatisfied, and would not recommend New American to anyone.

Communication with Diana Lombard was spotty at best. On 8/8, I received an email from Brenda Carlin after trying to find out what was taking so long. The opening of the email said "I apologize for the delay Mr. Hurtado, Diana is no longer with New American Funding." Yet, we continued to receive emails from Diana Lombard. I would not use New American Funding again. Furthermore, I would advise any of my friends or family to use a different company.
