I basically had to help my client with this transaction as they had difficulties as well. Communication was terrible in my opinion and had I not known how a transaction works, it could have been worse.

When I first spoke to Rob, he seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The moment I told him that I had eliminated the other lender that I had been considering, everything change, and my entire experience became a complete nightmare. Suddenly, Rob never answered the phone, never had any answers for me, and immediately stopped checking in on how things were going. Once he got our business and knew we were locked in, he stopped caring. I have plenty more to add, but am limited characters.

Jarrod Harris was unprofessional, unreliable, an mostly unresponsive during my entire refinance process. He somehow lost my appraisal information, which delayed the entire process. he told me I could refi using my rental income, which turns out wasn't true, delaying the refi even more. And on the day of signing docs I found out that he actually charged me nearly $1000 to lower my interest rate when he told me I wasn't being charged. He lied to me. I've never work with New American Funding again.

She is a disaster...was assigned to me on 10/25/19. She sent me her info in an email.. since then it was a chase trying to get my loan papers and refinancing started..I send out multiple reminder emails to no avail..she did not do anything at all...and stopped responding to my email too. Fire this dummy and get someone who reflects the true value of your company....this sort of behavior and delay is abominable...

We learned about New American funding through Lending Tree and were contacted quickly submitting our form. Heather was nice during initial calls but things went downhill quickly, The process was slow and communication was awful. There were mistakes made like not factoring both of our incomes for loan. We contacted management after zero responses to multiple emails. We went with another lender and we closed with them yesterday, had zero issues. Please look elsewhere for mortgage loan!

Heather talks big game, but did not deliver. She continued to mention that she deserves our trust, but instead ended up going backwards on everything that she had promised and kept blaming the builder for all of our issues, when realistically, she was not ready. She did not do research on our specific closing costs, and instead just used generalized closing cost numbers, which costed us $12,000 more that what we had planned for. Very friendly, but not worth the amount of money we lost.
