I was mislead, communication was a nightmare my emails were ignored or answered rudely. For example I asked why there was an out of pocket cost to me when I was told my refinance was no cost, first response was "bad timing" 2nd response was "I can't pay your taxes and insurance for you" That is not an explanation. I've worked with NAF since 2014 this was my third refinance & only NEGATIVE experience but bad enough to want to find a new lending company & definitely not work with same loan officer

I’ve been a V.A. loan customer of New American Funding for the last year. Because of the low rates, this January I began shopping for refinance options. Chris Moore reached out to me after my inquiry, but unfortunately I received a lower interest rate and overall better business option. I reached out to Chris Moore and informed him of the events. I apologized, thanked him for doing business, and how I look forward to future opportunities. His response was merely “ok” after a year of business.

When documents were required there was very little time given to prepare them. Usually needed the same business day. The loan type had very strict guidelines and it seemed like he waited until the last minute to request everything. Then threaten that I would lose the house if I did not comply. This result in me taking vacation time to prepare documents. I spoke to other lenders who agreed this was not how it should have gone. But I have the house and hopefully will never have to deal with him.

My experience would’ve been better if Jonathan Lindsey didn’t lie to us about how much time he actually needed to fund the loan or better yet if he processed it when he was supposed to. For a minute I actually thought we were being scammed and New American Funding didn’t exist. The lack of communication between everyone was atrocious, no one knew what was going on and that shows how much Jonathan Lindsey didn’t care if my elderly clients had a home to be in over the holidays.

I would have gave 5 stars across the board. But because 3 hours after driving for 16 hours straight there was "more complications" with closing. Then alex blome went missing. Not only from me but the rest of everyone else that was working with him. Whether or not he went on vacation or just stopped communication because his team messed up is extremely unprofessional. I had to waste an extra 420 dollars on hotel rooms for no reason. Im glad the process is over.

This was the worst transaction I have ever worked in real estate. Communication was terrible, as it took days to get ahold of anyone and when we finally did, nobody knew anything about the loan progress. A 30 day contract turned into two months and docs were needed at the end that should’ve been addressed in the beginning. Thank god my client was a repeat investor. If this had been a first time home buyer or an elderly buyer I would’ve lost the deal. I will never use American Funding again.

Was recently in a local real estate office. Eric's door was open and I could hear his entire conversation. If you value your information in these days of identity theft, please use someone else. No one should overhear conversations of financial matters. You would think someone as 'professional' as he would be more concerned about his clients.

Important documents fedexed late on Thursday or Friday night. No one in the office for help until Monday or Tuesday due to a holiday. No one returns calls until late in the day if at all. You are included Mr Glick. It is like the staff never processed a VA loan. It felt like no on was in the loop fo anything starting with the realtors all the way up to you Mr Glick. I found everyone very unprofessional. Mr. Glick and the female realtor were extreamly unprofessional. It felt like flirting.
