I choose Alishea as my lender thinking she will be professional enough to call me and help me. She never returned calls or texts. She don't keep you updated on nothing. I don't know was it because she so busy. However, I will not recommend no one to her.

Steve has weak communication skills. We were constantly having to nag him for info & updates t/out the process. He did not voluntarily update us. He was often hard to get ahold of & a few times we had to go to him in person just to speak with him. He &his assistant Leslie requested ppwrk multiple times & we figured out the papers (things that had been notarized) had gone missing?! He approved us to give notice & then basically let us almost become homeless. Steve doesn't care about people, just himself

If you don't want to know the status of your loan u til the very last second, I would shop around. Closing did not happen when promised and left us without a place to stay for 4 days. Funding for the loan did not happen when they promised. Have way too many hoops to jump through. Be prepared to play the "one more thing" game with this group. Inaccurate information given to you is called a "misunderstanding". Very stressful to deal with. Again, look around at other companies.

Response: Very smart to say that is not you to everyone who’s not happy with the service. We started with one loan that we were told that we can absolutely do, and got denied. We had to stop the process of other loan because they started loan that they knew we will not get approved because we provided all information and they new that there are requirements that we will not meet, but when did Mario mention about it? Oh right, after starting the process. Very disappointed with service we got. There are too many things that are not being talked about. We were told that everything looks very good and we are pre-approved. We ended up getting denied and lost a lot of money. I would recommend looking for different loan agencies. If you need someone very organized and someone who will give you a lot of information, this is wrong place to go.

The worst experience of my life. I received the worst guidance for my first time buying a home. Please read all the reviews on New American Funding, they’re absolutely true to form. Over promise and under deliver should be their motto. My experience was almost the exact same as all the negative complaints NAF reviews show. I wasted my time, money and the home I wanted. Please use extreme caution ?? and run the other way. NAF will continue to ask for ridiculous paperwork question it, make you run around the solve whatever paperwork is asked yet again, THEN question it some more, and will have you chase your tail all the way up until closing day. Please read all reviews throughly.

The conversation with both loan officers started well. But very early on the lack of response was evident. My realtor and wife called, emailed and text as did I with slow response. It would’ve have been so bad if that was end of story. The loan (which didn’t exist) a week before closing with all the effort, calls, time and money spent hadn’t been approved. The loan officer didn’t know their rules in a community property state that both husband & wife need to go on paperwork. E weren’t trying to do that. There’s never an excuse for not knowing your business when others time and money are involved. Dylan let us down, offered poor customer service and was too cowardly to call us whenever news wasn’t good. Our file and credit aren’t perfect. We can handle it if the answer is no, but not the incompetence in not knowing it’s a, “no” until five days before closing. Unacceptable!! Never again will we use this company. Thanks for wasting all of our time!

The lender was terrible. She was told in the beginning we knew NOTHING about buying a home and that we would need her to hold our hand through this. She did just the opposite. She doesn’t answer phone calls and is extremely unprofessional in texts. She treated us like a number and not a customer. Unpleasant doesn’t even begin to describe how horrible this whole situation was and still is.
