Not a good experience when I called or text no one called me back. They had my loan for 3 weeks no status calls no return calls Heather was inconsiderate avoiding me she was never available ask for manager Greg no call from him either. I never treated my clients like they treated me. I always called my clients back always. Spent over 20 years in this business if you made a mistake and you didn't know what your doing ask for help. I called my other friend in the business and was told you should have never held the loan that long and got an answer from him in 1 day. Very disappointed.

I would NOT recommend ever working with Greg Riordan at New American Funding. I wanted to give a local broker a chance and I deeply regret doing so. We were up front with all of our information and he failed to recognize a critical component that ended up changing everything. We lost the house we were in escrow for due to Greg’s incompetence. Not only did he cause us to lose the house but he also was a rude & inconsiderate. I have heard of other people having the same experience where they also lost the house they were in escrow for because of him. In today’s market I would not take a risk and choose Greg as your broker.

The worst service anywhere, lied to me several times about how my loan was going. to 5 months to get no where with these fabricators. hired a low ball appraiser to under appraise my home for refinance. they were so bad they returned my $550 fee. Maybe Reardon is better, but Patrillo and company total let down. I got prequalified and did not get a call back for 6 weeks to start process Total waste of time. Go with Finance of America if you want honesty and competent service.

How are they in business still? Terrible loan officer, Heather Petrillo. She cannot meet deadlines and should not be a in position where other people rely on her.

From start to finish it was like pulling teeth to get Bridgette to do anything for the loan. We started communicating in August about starting the loan but she actually did not submit my application until October when I finally told her to stop stalling or I would find another lender. Big red flag this was going to be a bad experience, I should have listen to myself. She would not call me back to save her life until I blasted her on a group email with the other members of the team helping with my loan. Jessica from the reno team was a great help! Only bright light in the whole transaction! Bridgett, the closer, funder or someone requested my escrows be applied to my balance instead of refunded to me and when I tried to get it corrected I was told my lock would expire and I would have to pay an extension fee for your company's error. I also reached out to Bridgette's boss Milt he took my call heard my concerns and said he would look into it and call me back...I assume he is doing some deep diving because I am still waiting for that call. We closed Dec1st should of funded on Dec 6th but on the 6th the title company was calling to say we could not fund because they still did not have the docs needed. We resigned on 12/7. Very Disappointed with how things were handled with no apology. I am also a lender so I understand the business. This was just disrespectful and careless to say the least!

I worked for NAF for 2 years. I was laid off with absolutely no warning due to the market shift. After work one day a complete stranger from NAF called me and explained I was laid off and that today was my last day. I asked if I did anything wrong and she assured me I was an excellent employee, but NAF couldn’t afford to keep me because of the slow market. Which I understood, work had been very slow for a couple months. Immediately afterwards I saw on LinkedIn that the top producing loan officers were taking on an all inclusive trip to Hawaii. Several months later I saw on Indeed that my old branch was hiring for my old position. So I applied, and the recruiter, Jessica Zazueta, informed me that I was a shoe in and that she’d be in contact with me. A week passed and I emailed her for an update and a timeframe I could expect to hear back from her, she said they were wrapping up interviews and she’d call soon. Two weeks later I emailed her again, but she never responded. A few days later I called and left a message, no response. Over the next couple of weeks I tried getting in contact with her, but she never responded. Eventually I reached out to my old manager, who said she hired someone else. I wasted so much time waiting for a response, I turned down other opportunities because I thought I was a “shoe in” all because the recruiter didn’t have the respect to inform me the position had been filled. You’d think a recruiter would be used to doing this, but apparently I wasn’t worth her time even though I was so dedicated to this company. This company doesn’t see employees as people. I don’t recommend working here.

Laborious Claim process. Had roof replaced. Insurance payments have to be endorsed by mortgage lender, NAF. It takes up to a month to get the endorsed check back with much nagging on our part. No local office available to handle such situations. Online Google listing is old; this location is vacant. I hate it when they sell mortgages to a__hats like this company.

I spoke with Joe at New American Funding about 6 months before I needed to close on a new home loan and asked at least 6 times that my credit not be pulled but rather just wanted to explore their various loan options. I was assured over and over and over that my credit wouldn’t be pulled and that everything would be fine. Well you guessed it, my credit was pulled and to them wasn’t much of an issue and was really just swept under the rug, which was incredibly annoying and unprofessional. I spoke to Joe over the phone about the issue and was told “don’t worry it won’t effect your score” well it actually dinged my score 17 points and my wife’s 13. Exactly what I didn’t need while trying to buy a new home. And now I am left working with the credit report company that provides the credit reports to New American Funding to get everything reversed and pulled off my credit report. End of the story is that all they cared about was getting my info to process another loan and make another buck or two. And their quote wasn’t even very competitive.
