Bryan hull lied to us for a month and left us 30 days to try to find a lender and move and everything i would find another lending company they ask for paperwork that u dont need and hook u up with a agent that doesnt help at all !!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO TRY TO GET A LOAN FIRST !!!!! IF U HAVE TO MOVE OUT DONT TRUST THEM U WONT GET A PLACE IN TIME !!!!!

Rep didn't know what he was doing. Communication was frustrating because they never gave you all the information. Save yourself the headache

My loan officer Naomi was amazing. She went above and beyond her job to help me with everything, even by helping the processor and verification do their jobs!! The processor and underwriting on the other hand were terrible. Very unorganized, and petty beyond belief. Literally dragged the closing out for 2 months asking for each document one by one and taking two days to respond about each document, not to mention they asked for some things that literally made no sense. I had to change closing date twice due to this. Then wants to rush at the end, trying to force me to close on a date that is inconvenient to all parties, because my locked rate was expiring and they didn't want to pay for the extension, after extending the process for as long as they did suspending my file every other day for these documents. They literally sucked the whole joyous experience of buying a home from me.

Awful experience....please save yourself frustration and time by find another company for your Mortgage needs. There are many other options out there.

This is the worst place ever! Was working with Spencer Erickson who told us we were approved for refinance and cash out. We paid for appraisal. Then he stopped answering emails. I called and asked for his supervisor. Had to leave a message. Someone finally called to tell me we were in fact not approved and would not get the mortgage or be reimbursed for the $525 we paid for the appraisal. I wish I could leave a review of -5 stars. They are HORRIBLE!

How long can this be? Let's just say my overall experience with New American was incredibly poor. I had very little follow through, communication was lacking at best. I would email or call and get absolutely no response or i would hear something a day to a week later. We showed up at what was supposed to be our closing to be told we were not clear to close BY THE LAWYERS OFFICE! We drove from Indiana to North Carolina for closing. Chris out Loan Officer stated multiple times he didn't know what was happening or it was a different department handling this so he wasn't sure what the hold up was. I asked Chris for his managers name and number, he responded "give him a few minutes to find that Information" I am quite certain he knows his managers name and number by heart. He never did give me the information. I called the main number and found it myself. Chris always made it seem as if the problem was the backend working on the loan. I felt I was attempting to corral cats to get information. 1. I would never recommend New American to anyone much less Christipher Steele. As soon as we can, we plan to refinance and get away from this absolutely horrid company. RUN DONT WALK AWAY!

Run run run, use local lenders, terrible follow up and we didn’t close on time!

I was bombarded with requests for information from underwriting one piece at a time. Each time the package was sent back through, it came back requesting one or two pieces of information. The information was immediately provided, sent back again, comes back requesting more information. That would be be provided, would be provided and the same thing would happen again. This happened at least five times. Each time it would cost money to extend the closing. I had to give them an ultimatum of the absolute last day I would allow this to continue (two days). That was the only way to get it through, they attempted to extend, I refused. Lo and behold it was sent to the lawyer. Stay away from this company. They cannot work with the appraisers and underwriting to get complete lists of the information needed to get the job done without driving the client out of their minds. Never use them!!
