Bien Nguyen was hard to contact. He very rarely answered the phone. I guess he was too busy. Margie Bautista ignored or just didn't answer some of my questions. She told me to do things mostly with no explanation. The biggest problem was that I should have waited and used a local lender. I had to do almost everything over the phone. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a lender. You wanted old documents that no lender has ever asked for. Documents that I have not had for many years. This was an extremely stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone.

We had multiple delays that occurred outside the team’s control, but we were hoping for clearer communication when our closing date was pushed back. The process was long, and at times we felt out of the loop regarding those delays. The team did what they could to keep things moving, but much of our frustration came from having to frequently request updates ourselves. After we expressed these concerns, a better communication system was put in place, which helped—though it tapered off again in the last couple of weeks before closing. According to our loan officer, we still closed within the 60-day time frame, which we had assumed would begin from the date the land purchase contract was submitted. Overall, the team worked hard, but we would suggest clearer and more proactive communication to help prevent confusion and frustration. We are pleased to have closed and are excited to begin construction.

I set up a loan with him wentalked about waiting till my credit was a little better. When it was better I contacted him and didn't hear back for a year. He finally responded and started the process but I didn't know what to expect and was not explained the process. I was contacted by a person who was the loan processor but I didn't know and had to ask Nate about it. The processor was very short and did explain some things to me about the process but not a lot. She left out important information. Like when it would close, what I was supposed to do next, when I gave them all the info i had to rush to them it wasn't in the paperwork. They didn't let me know I was signing in person so I assumed it was online as everything else was but the Notary came to my house! Now I have recieved the loan but I can't access the web site anymore because it says my info is not recognized. So I can't see my web page for it at all. Nate has not contacted me after the loan at all. I got an email that said it was done and this servey. I don't know if or where to pay the loan off. I recieved a letter in the email to sign up for automatic payments, but I had already set that up with the Notary. I am confused and don't know how to pay. Overall I feel there was bad communication and then once the loan was done no communication at all.
