When we began the process we suggested one type of loan then he told us we should go with another type of loan . The loan he suggested did not pan out as we expected and then we went with the 1st loan that we suggested. The entire process took over 3 months and we had to repeatedly send documents over and over again because the chain of communication was very poor at the mortgage office . This was not our 1st property, we have commercial properties and residential properties however this was the longest process that we have ever been through with any mortgage.

I saw Google reviews and was referred by a friend to use Craig as my lender for buying my first home. I was nervous and excited to finally make this huge step. After spending two weeks waiting on a return call, I finally got a phone call from his associate. It was a day or so and Craig finally called me and I felt as though I wasn’t worth his time. After a week or so into this process he stopped answering my messages. I had student loans in deferment because I am a still a student and this must’ve been a major issue for him. However, instead of just telling me no, he ignored me. I soon contacted another lender and officially closed on a beautiful home today. I had to get my credit pulled a second time, but the process was painless unlike my experience with Craig. Do not let his good reviews fool you. Do not waste your time. Find a lender that actually cares about you and will be decent enough to return your messages. I would honestly give 0 stars if it were an option.

even the survey is incorrect. I have no idea who David Rangel is. I worked with.Sheryl Myaer. Granted, it was an unusual Transaction, however, lack of communication was appalling to both myself and my clients. We were delayed several times and did not have clear to close until two hours before we went to sign documents. At one point, Sheryl, upon refusing to give me any information that I needed to relay to my clients, told me “ That is not your job”. Helping my clients understand what’s going on during a stressful transaction is literally my job. Communication among our parties is essential, and was totally lacking in this case. I’ve worked with many wonderful lenders over the years and know how this works. This is my first time working with this company and it will most certainly be my last.

Trash!! So angry and disappointed with Clear Mortgage and Guillermo. After telling us we were approved and collecting money they deny us on the last day of escrow. How do you get that far into escrow and then are told you are not approved!?! So unprofessional I can’t even believe it. Stay away.

Cesar did not do his job in communicating with the client on prorations and taxes or cost for closing ultimately resulting in attorneys and brokers having to take over the transaction to get the client back on track for closing. This was the worst transaction I have ever had and I have closed over 120 deals!!

Our closing was delayed due to lack of communication about missing documents which could have been obtained easily with just a little advance notice. We had to call at 4:45pm on the day before closing to learn what was missing. No sense of responsibility in the entire team. Never had such an experience with NAF before. Not going with our next mortgage with them. In fact, we are working with a different lender right now for our daughter’s mortgage due to this negative experience with NAF.

Eddie is an excellent loan officer. However, the lady processing the application, Lauren, is the laziest person I have ever encountered. It has been more than three months since she started working on my file. I am always prompt in answering her questions and submitting the requested documentation. After each document request or question, I typically hear back from her only after ten days. She is terrible at her job and has cost me a significant amount of money because I am still buying extensions on my rate, as she can never meet the closing deadlines. She is like a sloth. Run for your life if you hear the name Lauren Rooney.
