The people I dealt with at New American were entirely unprofessional. My wife and I have credit scores over 800 and more than adequate income for the loan we wanted, but these people ghosted us: I've never experienced anything like it when dealing with a financial institution. We submitted our application and all the documents they requested and they just stopped communicating.

As a real estate agent, this is the worst experience I have had with a lender to date. Everything was going great until the week before closing. We were supposed to close 2 business days before the date listed as the "close on or before" date on the contract. Bryce said they would be able to accommodate this date without any issues. The day before we tells me this isn't going to happen, but we should be able to close the next day. Then, all communication from Bryce ends and Cynthia Savala becomes the contact person. They could never get us clear to close and could not give me, my buyer, or the closing attorney any information as to why there was a delay. They did not answer any phone calls , avoided my questions in emails, and kepts saying they couldn't give me answers. They pushed our closing back until the contract technically expired. We ended up closing 3 days after the date on the contract. Because of their negligence, this lender almost cost my client her house. I would never reccommend Bryce or New American to anyone.

The loan officer failed to disclose: 1. that 6% interest rate was with a $2500 buy down. I had told him specifically I did not want to buy points given I anticipate refinancing in a year or two. 2. He promised my realtor myself on September 24 that residual seller credit can go towards principal reduction. He did not disclose that it was not possible until October 18 end of day. This was because I had text him regarding the closing process. Not because he had called me specifically to disclose his mistake to me. i'm a 20 year critical care physician. Mistakes happen. With a fly is is when you don't own up to it a cannot be sought in a timely fashion.

I had high expectations at the beginning of the refinance process, as the team initially seemed attentive and committed. However, as things progressed, I encountered numerous issues. Many of the figures I was given were inaccurate or exaggerated, and there was a significant lack of communication. I found myself constantly having to follow up to get updates, as there didn’t seem to be a feedback loop in place. The communication breakdown between the loan processor and senior loan officer was apparent, causing unnecessary delays and inefficiencies. It took three attempts just to complete the notary process. Despite repeated requests for the loan processor to meet with me and clarify the numbers, this never happened. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to others. This process left me with no trust in the people I worked with, and I regret choosing this organization for my refinance.

Their communication was terrible and they made major changes without communicating anything to us (more than once, we learned major news from the people selling the house who weren't their clients! So unprofessional). They left everything to the last minute, pushing our signing date back 3 times and nearly messing up the deal at the last minute even after 3 delays. Absolutely miserable experience, would never choose them again. The processer we worked with couldn't answer a single question for us and seemed to have no idea how anything worked. It was beyond awful.

- I worked with Ryan Barkley. - Despite me having filled out their online form for a home equity loan, their system showed me as applying for a refinance. - Despite me having entered all the information and provided all the documentation your system asked for, I had to repeat most things to Ryan, which was highly inefficient. When I asked him about having input the information before, he stated that "it's probably somewhere in the system" so I guess he could just not be bothered to look. - Ryan told me he had all the information and would call me back in 20 minutes with options. I get an e-mail from his manager hours later that he had been informed that I would be working with another lender and wishing me good luck. So not only did Ryan not keep his promise of a simple callback, but when they can't help you or decide not to work with you (not sure which since they never told me what happened), you get a form e-mail with no useful information. Based on the above, I would not recommend this lender to anyone and I am shocked how many 4+ star reviews they have online as I had checked them out before giving them a try.

There was a severe lack of communication went to closing with a guess of what I needed to bring there I was told my rate was one thing the surprised at closing with a higher rate also a surprise at closing was the fact that we need to pay off a debt on our credit report . Should of been told that before hand and would have done it very unprofessional
