My loan officer is was changed during the process. My realtor was the one to tell me of the change, not NAF. The new loan officer did not even reach to introduce himself. I spoke to him one time during the process only after I had texted him. I decided to go with NAF because was Chase feeling like a loan factory in the beginning where as my inital LO with NAF felt more personable. However that changed. With the biggest purcahse of someones life I would have expected more communication and guidance along the way.

No one was on the same page or appear to know what they were doing. I will not be staying for long.

Clearer and more frequent communication, reasonable time allotment for required documentation. Less rushed process. A more dedicated investment in clients.

Ru is the epitome of a dedicated lender! He represented buyer clients for my listing and was able to process a VA loan in record time AND showed up to the settlement! Because of his hands on approach, speed and efficiency he's definitely getting my business in the future. If you need help navigating this ever-changing market, Ru is your go-to guy, trust me!

Communication was almost non existent after the loan was in underwriting. buying a home is stressful enough , but when the lenders you chose are not forthcoming with information, difficult to reach and rude when you finally do communicate it is an unfortunate experience I do not wish anyone to go through

Closing was supposedly changes without REALTOR or client consent. 2 pm closing on the Dec 17th got pushed to 5pm closing . Buyer had to stress to closing attorney this was the only day she could have closed. They kept telling us to comeback on the Dec 18th. Buyer is very unhappy with New American .

No Stars (had to put 1 star in order for this to post), this ranks as one of the worst experiences of a transaction I have witnessed as an agent. It affected so many people, so many errors on the part of New American Funding's staff. I will never recommend this lender to any client of mine.

Buying a home can be stressful but should be a joyous occasion. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us and was far more stressful and somber of an experience than it needed to be. My wife and I were pressured into a bad situation with a seller, who left the property a mess. Instead of having the professionalism and experience to navigate all parties through a dispute it was unnecessarily prolonged and eventually “the buck was passed” onto mediation which has provided no deadline or timeline of any kind to resolve a dispute, to which money was purposely escrowed to avoid such an issue, or so we were told. We never agreed to such an option nor did we ever discuss mediation as an option. This was a surprise and was blamed on being rushed?!? Once again, another situation forced upon us. I have bought and sold a few properties in my life and never have I experienced anything as disorganized as this. I’m not sure if there is even a plan to bring closure to these issues as the communication is very poor. I will not be using or recommending this company to anyone.
