First it is not fair to rate Mike Kariko as he came at the end of the process. We did not have any person to person communication. He only sent the web process updates. As for the experience, I have bought and sold 6 houses in my life time and have never experienced the manner in which this loan process was so poorly handled. Not until I was forced to contact the corporate office did I receive the level of customer service and efficiency that I have experienced in the past.

Communication was poor at the end. This included communication with a supervisor. If I did not ask questions, I did not hear anything from anyone. Very frustrating process.

I won't use this company again because extra charges and points and extension fees were added that we were not aware of and had no fault whatsoever in.

Dave's service and manners were fine. The paperwork took way too long to get processed. It passed from one rep to the next and I had to resubmit the same information several times. The 3 late fees I had to pay were inexcusable.

Ruth was great but New American Funding was terrible. She was very personable and did her best to make things work out, but the company made it almost impossible for me to close on my house. Had it not been for her and one other person I would have gone with another lender. I would never use this company again.

Day of closing was delayed till late at night without regard for are time. No compensation was offered from Mr. Cornejo or those involved in closing. The notary can be blamed that came to the house.
