Communication was poor. Closing numbers were not exactly what I was expecting and what was communicated. I signed because the numbers were acceptable but again not what I expected based on what was discussed. Dealing with this company gave me the impression that they work another job during the week and they catch up with this one on Friday evening after working hours.

This entire experience was terrible. When we first inquired with Sam, he was responsive and even told us when we started the process on Oct 6, that New American would be able to close our loan by Oct 31st. Sam would not call me back, I would keep calling or call the main number and have them transfer me. When I would finally speak to him he would say “Oh, we’re almost there...”. This happened for months until our loan finally closed Dec 17. I would not recommend Sam or New American to anyone

There was little to no communication throughout the whole process. When you ask a question it is always a vague answer of I can't answer that someone else can but that person says the same thing. Paperwork was sent to the wrong employer and didn't think anything of it for 17 days . If you aren't in the same business as them they treat you like you are dumb and don't know the process. If you can find better rates and want better service, go elsewhere. Nicest person was his assistant.

The communication was horrible. There was information that was crucial to our buying process that was never given to us at all. Buying a home while selling another is stressful to begin with. Working with Jeff made it ten times more stressful. Sadly, I won’t recommend him to anyone.

There were several mistakes made and a lack of communication by loan officer made the situation more difficult. Also, a nasty text message to buyer from loan officer about the delay in get buyer funds to title was unprofessional. It had not been communicated to buyer she would close on that day.
