The experience was not good at all. There was no communication, no returned calls, no explanation on what was happening or going to happen, half answered questions. No support what so ever. All I got, were surprised emails with no time to review or understanding of the steps or process. I do not wish or recommend this on anyone.

My experience was overall awful mainly due to lack of communication. I originally applied for this mortgage refinance in Dec 2020 and it ended up closing in April 2021. My origination costs were originally ~$1100 and more than doubled to ~$2400 after delay after delay. Beware of them trying to hook you in at the beginning and then wipe away your savings after you get too far in the process to quit and move to someone else. I will never use a national lender again and stay local.

They changed mortgage brokers soon after I started and I only got prepacked email from stanley. I did email him a couple times and didn't get a response. I was told i would get my funds auto deposited, and i received a check. The numbers for my payoff were different on the closing documents than the actual payoff amount. Valencia Dennis and Liana Elgas were OK to work with. My previous mortgage was much more pleasant than this one.

Communication started out well and about half way through the process the team i was working with really started to lack. Had to make multiple calls to fallow-up on how the process was going. The most frustrating part was that i had to call myself on multiple occasions to get payoff amounts because the process was taking so long that by the time all the information got turned over to the underwriter the information that was collected was expired had to go through this three times.

The lack of communication and the amount of time and energy I had to pour into this was beyond annoying. I received paperwork that did not make sense, I received conflicting paperwork, I spent hours and hours completing paperwork and even when the notary left and I finally thought it was all over, I had more paperwork and was met with an attitude of "just sign it" NOW. Hurry. I was wrapped up in this process from December to the very last days of March.

Communication is key; especially for first time home buyers. I realize that there was a lot of extra work involved in getting GA Dream approval. However, if an associate does not or cannot provide guidance, support and a professional attitude, then the organization should not offer that option. Brad was very flippant, careless and unprofessional. However, Alisa Curry was exceptional. She is the reason I did not withdraw my application and take my business elsewhere.

We specifically asked if we were being charged for points and we were told that we were not. We were lied to and then told that our closing would not happen on time if we didnt pay for them. It consistently took weeks to get updated documents and we had to pay for the points because she wouldn't get things fixed for us. We are extremely unhappy with her.
