At closing, New American Funding did not follow wiring instructions, therefore we were stranded at the title company an additional 3 hours while this was sorted out. Also within 60 days of closing, we find out they have sold our loan to Wells Fargo. We did not receive any communication from Mark Cooper this was happening. We thought we were working with someone local to partner with us through our loan, turns out it was a deception. We do not recommend Mark Cooper nor New American.

I Just Think Tht It Was Not The Best Of Service Bc We Had A Leader At The Beginning Of The Process It Was Goin Real Great But Then Tht Agent Left To Go To Another Company An Then Thts When Things Were Getting Bad .... I Mean We Had To Resend All The Paperwork Over 2 Or 3 Times In The Process Which Made It Take 2 1/2 Months For Every Thing To Finally To A Closeing Date In June We Started The Process In April

I felt that nothing was done to make this go smoothly, I got the impression that this was the first manufactured home he has delt with.

This transaction did not close on time...the procrastinated, said they had everything and then asked for it again...the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. They contacted attorney for everything when they should have asked the agents. It was very frustrating. Lack of communication is a big problem.

Alvin didn't listen to explicit instructions for my clients. He ordered an appraisal when we told him in multiple modes to wait to order the appraisal. He then explained that we gave permission to order the appraisal when we scheduled the appraisal with the appraiser. We didn't schedule the appraisal, the listing agent did. When I brought it up with evidence in multiple emails, he told me he'd look into it and never got back to us.

It was a very bad experience for my clients. We are in Indiana so the time difference was horrible. Every time we would try and get a hold of someone from New American it would be 5-6 hours later or even the next day. The day of closing we were supposed to close at 11a eastern time and had no docs. So we called and called and called. All we ever heard was how busy New American is and that they would get to it. In the mean time my clients had no home to move into and there closing was delayed 4hr
