This is the worst closing experience I have had in 31 years of real estate. I was shocked since Jill was recommended through our church, World Changers. The Buyer went through so much unnecessary stress due to issues that should have been resolved upfront. When things got tough, Jill was no where to be found. Thank God, Matt Reyes, saved the day with his exemplary customer service, knowledge and get it done attitude. He never dodged my client's calls and kept me updated as to what was going on.

Jill lead us to believe that she clearly communicated the closing date to the lender when it fact it was not. From an email chain that was sent to us from Angel Oak you could clearly see that they were unaware of the actual builder scheduled closing date. We lost money and personal time off. I would never ever do business with Jill again.

Jeff does not return calls in a timely manner. You have to continously stay on him to move the process along. It took five months for a no cash-out refinance. Ridiculous!! Jason

Communication on my loan completely stopped for 2 weeks. I sent emails and left messages because my rate lock was expiring and no one would let me know what was going on. They allowed my rate to expire and waited 2 weeks after expiration on contact me. Then my points to buy down my rate doubled. I feel this was intentional due to the size of my loan. Just trying to make money. I will never do business this company again and will never refer them to anyone.

Buying a house is a stressful endeavor to begin with, however my experience with New American Funding and Thomas made it nearly unbearable. I didn't close on the set date, which caused a lot of issues for my seller. I received an email 36 hours before my first closing date requesting information, then was told late the night before that some of the documents were incorrect. Communication was terrible throughout the process. I haven't been so frustrated and angry in a long time.

Ryan has very poor communication skills. He did not call back when he said he would. I got tired of his apologizing for his indifference. At the eleventh hour, he and his office were asking demands to produce documentation and there was no reason to wait till last minute. I requested a call back from the manager of the office Mr. Parker. Mr. Gray called me and promised he would contact me the next day. That never happened. I felt taken advantage of. Unprofessional and would not recommend.

I asked several times for a different loan servicer. It just often felt like Ray had too much on his plate to adequately handle additional work load.
