Alberto was personable and helpful in the beginning, but I believe the process took way too long to complete, and often Alberto did not respond to my call/email. I applied for a refinance loan in November and didn't close until February. That seems was too long for this loan to process. I don't know how much of that was his fault, but I do think the title people had something to do with it. You could have closed the loan in a timely manner - your underwriters kept coming up with more requests for things because YOU couldn't close it on time. We have excellent credit, income, lack of debt, yet your processors couldn't even get my credit union to give them the payoff, so I had to call them, and they had already sent it, but sent it to me as well... After that, YOU still managed to screw up the closing date - Marc was fine as far as a loan officer goes, but the rest of your crew not.

You failed to advise me of having to buy points during my request for a refinance loan quote. I only found out about buying points after I provided all my personal information to you and I asked questions once I was provided with the fee's disclosure form. In the future, advised all clients that the quote includes the individual buying points to obtain the quoted APR.

there were times when there was no communication. i was never told when to stop payments current loan until the very last day by someone else.

I feel that the loan officers and representatives at New American are trying to manage too many applications. As a result, timely communication suffers. I'd recommend that New American hire more employees to better handle the demand.

Communications throughout the process and follow through with numbers discussed at closing. Several changes were made without clear communication. Don't understand if more of the miscommunication was on behalf of the builder, the lender or the agent. It was a stressful process for me.
