I appreciate the response and communication from Alyssa and the manager. At times, Morgan was very rude and unprofessional. Often she wouldn’t respond. Overall, it appeared that we were “bothering” her through this process. With the amount of investment, it would be beneficial to have someone professional and knowledgeable.

More communication from our Mortgage Agent. We never received any phone calls, we always had to call, or our realtor. We felt like we were always put on the back burner , as if we were not important during the entire process.

I am happy with my loan and the rate. I am not happy with Noah Patterson and team. Our closing was delayed and the only reason I knew about it was because I called the title company. No one from the team reached out until I reached out to them. Also during initial conversations with Noah we were told we would have "the Noah Patterson experience" - lets just say that experience was not good. Noah Patterson comes off pompous and pretentious for that reason I would not use them again.

Should have been given all of the information when applying for the loan. Did not know about Reserves needed until the end, NJ Bond thresholds weren't discovered till the last week before closing so we had to come up $13,000.00 out of pocket to make the deal happen. Also the first appraisal wasn't good enough for the loan but it had to be updated and used at the end along with the 3rd appraisal to secure the loan. We lived in a nightmare for 4 months due to all of the last minute requirements demanded of us and all of the back and forth between too many people employed with the Mortgage Co and the realtors. My realtor was told in an email that most mortgage companies would have given up on us after 4 months which is interesting since the Mortgage Co created 90% of the problems securing this loan. This is just a taste of the unpleasant experience we went through. More detail will be forth coming.

Timely substantive responses versus boilerplate excuses for lack of service.

My experience was unpleasant because the communication was poor. As a first time buyer I feel that my lender should have communicated the process, expectations, do's & dont's thru process. Overall, I felt like my loan wasn't important along with all the inconsistencies with dates, needed documents, interest rates, etc. I felt this should have been a good/joyful experience but it's was a nightmare. In honesty I didn't appreciated being told "I work too much". Just too many lies.

We nearly lost out on the house we were buying because there was nearly complete silence from Sheel towards the end of our loan process. We kept asking, for well over a week, if he needed anything more from us or anyone else in the process who we could push. We were told every time that we were fine, and he didn't need anything. Both DKMortgage's site and our title company said we would have the Final Closing Documents at least 3 days before our closing date. We did not receive them until we had already missed our original appointment for the closing. Our original appointment to close at the title company was at 9am on Friday, July 23rd. We FINALLY got the documents, that should have been in our hands 3 days earlier, at 11:30am on Friday, July 23rd. We were fortunate that the sellers were patient. Even with a slow system, even with some blunders in terms of my credit, this was abysmal communication from Sheel, who's meant to be our point of contact with the lender. We hammered away trying to get answers for days, with the few responses we got from Sheel being entirely vague and unhelpful. He would tell us that paperwork would be ready 'shortly' and then we wouldn't see anything for 2 days. 2 days before our closing, we were told they needed to confirm our employment again. At one point Sheel claimed that they had been waiting for documents from our title company, which had caused the delay. Our Real Estate agent disputed that, saying they had sent the paperwork the previous week and hadn't heard back from you. After complete silence for days, we contacted your VP of Credit regarding the poor communication from our agent. He was very understanding and professional, and we are convinced that the loan would not have moved through if he hadn't gotten involved. When it became clear we would miss our closing time on the 23rd an email chain between us, our agents, and the sellers wanted answers. He sent all of one email that the documents had been sent. No apology for the delay, no help in keeping the seller's agent in the loop, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I could go on, but I think it is clear that I will not be recommending your business to anyone else, nor would I use you again if I had to do it all over again.

Lack of communication. When they needed something it was always a rush but then they would sit on the documents for weeks before asking for clarification or informing us they the statements were now old and needed to be updated. Took 3 1/2 months to close on a refi w/ cash out. We closed a week ago now and I don’t have any proof that anything has been paid off and never received a call we could come pick up our check from the balance of the cash out. Terrible overall experience. As someone with a lending background I am disappointed in how little communication there was and how long it took to close based on what seemed like our loan just hanging out on someone’s desk.
