Better communication. By that I mean actually listening to what the borrower is saying as responding accordingly. It seemed several times we would communicate a need/request and the lender would just go on autopilot like we hadn’t said anything. Also a better understand of your own guidelines. I asked repeatedly for a list of guidelines regarding the heating requirements for a conventional loan and no one could give me an answer. All they said was what we had was not good enough but had no idea what would be good enough. It was extremely frustrating and we will be refinancing with another company as soon as possible. Out of the 5 lenders I’ve worked with over the past 10 years this was by far the worst experience.

For one, don't wait until the day of closing to tell us we had to have $2,700 . We ended up having to borrow money from family. Every time we thought we were going to close, something always came up. I'm talking about Stephanie. I just don't feel like we were a priority

It was a horrible experience. I’ve contacted the veterans administration to find out why I was dismissed and they said I should have been accepted. Sounds like a bait and switch. I’ll let them investigate and see what happens. There was so much miscommunication between Mobin and Leanne it was irritating. We will see what the VA investigators have to say. This took over a month after the initial closing date. Not happy at all. Would never tell anyone to use you.

The communication was unacceptable. As agent I was kept totally in the dark as to process and what was happening. Requested several times for updates as this deal needed 4 extension to close. The repeated requests by myself and our mutual client went unaddressed many times. The client almost lost their dream home dealing with the" whose on first " approach from this loan team. Not sure Chris understood the process of this type of Loan. It definitely felt like we were the first and the test dummies for the buy and Reno program in our area. Costs to close were extremely high for our area. The entry process was full of red tape. 2.5 hour closing. I Will not be recommending this program to any other clients.

We had to submit most documents 2-3 times, and also had to electronically sign the same documents multiple times in cases where we were told we didn't sign and had. My wife was not included in multiple emails, which was odd as she was the one providing the majority of the info. Also our realtor was notified 12-16 hours before us that we were ok to proceed with closing. Overall it was just a unpleasant experience, and it was the most difficult home load process we have ever been through.

Zain could have called me back. I spent the last 2.5 weeks calling several times a day, leaving messages. With no response. End up getting ahold of his supervisor who honestly wasn't any help. He had no idea what was going on nor did he try to get to the bottom of anything. Johnathon was no help. Zain also told my Buyer he told me we were not closing on time which never happened. I felt like from the beginning he was not in this. He tried to tell her she could walk away in the beginning after we already had an accepted offer and were through the inspection period. I do not feel like he cared about this deal what so ever. I spent most of the transaction explaining his job and what is suppose to be happening. I would not recommend working with Zain or Johnathon Lindsay. Kimberly on the other hand was very helpful and as soon as she had the docs she needed to close she was on it.
