It was difficult to receive multiple loan estimate scenarios without changing the terms of the loan.

The lack of communication was awful. I had to call to customer service line to get names of people above Mr Morgan to try and get answers. I have a list of 8 people who emailed in regards to this refinance and it is amazing to me that when I ask the question how would the credit cards be paid off I got the response of I don't know and would refer you to someone else with again had no idea. I finally on Monday 6 days after signing after my concerns being sent to John Ray did he have a lady from the title company call me and answer that question. Amazing that out of 8 people working on the loan that no one knew or cared to get me the answer nor did they instruct on paying the credit cards since I submitted the balances to them at the beginning of the month when they said we would close and it was the end of the month so now I have late fees and more interest that I now have to pay our of pocket.

I believe the customer experience could be improved with clearer and more consistent communication throughout the home buying process. Providing a detailed description of each step, especially for first-time buyers, would help customers feel more informed and confident. Additionally, response times to email inquiries often take up to a week, which can create unnecessary delays and uncertainty. Improving turnaround times for customer questions would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Dont give 2 completely different estimates on closing costs and also if I have a loan offer for 5.875 with no buy down and you say if you can get me to below 6 would I stay with you common sense would suggest that that would also be with no buy down but hey that's just me. Also i shouldn't be liable for lock extension costs and notary costs when I was ready to close on the day agreed upon but was stopped by issues with paper work on YOUR end .

Multiple items. There were miscommunications throughout, we were never asked if we were okay with opening a new account with Four Leaf, we were told we needed to. And then that process went poorly, and we couldn't do it online and needed to set up an appointment. Locking in the rate was miscommunicated to us. The process to get to "clear to close" seemed to take a long time and extra prompting from us. And then there was just mistake after mistake on our closing day. Closing took almost 5 hours because of mistakes on our lender's part. First, though we informed the team we wanted to purchase the house into our trusts back in May, only some of the documents reflected that. Then they misspelled my husband's last name. Then they got confused that he was a third. Then there was the wrong amount of money collected from us, and the issue was over how to cover the property taxes in arrears, which I had specifically asked about the previous week. We had a sick baby at home and it took an incredibly long time because of preventable mistakes.

Communication was lacking from start to finish. The product we signed up for was not easy to navigate. The closing experience was terrible as NAF made several errors that ultimately were unprofessional (mis-spelling my name, telling us to wire the wrong amount of money, failing to print the names of our trusts correctly multiple times) and turned what was supposed to be an easy and happy experience into a painful and confusing one. NAF Concierge is a nice idea but not helpful in reality. Would not use NAF again.
